Ortu Hassenbrook Academy is pleased to announce that we are now able to offer not only the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver Awards to our students but the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award scheme as well.

The school has worked hard in order to become one of the very few secondary schools in the area to offer the Gold Award. The Duke of Edinburgh Award aims to further our students extra-curricular activities and we are so very proud of our Silver students of 2017 willing to undertake this amazing opportunity.

I wish them every luck as they go into another important phase of their academic careers and look forward to seeing them collecting their Gold Awards in the very near future, with the chance to meet some of the Royal family.
